Celebrating the Life of Cleotha Louise Nairn Myers

January 5, 2019 by NWFacts Leave a Comment

Cleotha Louise Nairn Myers

Sunrise Sunset
April 17, 1949, December 15, 2018
Cleotha Louise Nairn Myers was born on April 17, 1949, in Nassau, Bahamas to the union of Arthur and Elsie Nairn Sr. She was the eldest of seven children; a natural born leader who knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go get it. As the oldest child, Cleotha followed her mother closely and ensured that her younger siblings were well taken care of. The Nairn siblings lived a good life; both parents worked outside the home, carrying even two jobs at times to all of their family’s needs were met. They live on Rubadane Lane and attended church regularly. Cleotha loved school and excelled in her classes while attending Prince William Elementary, Western Jr High and Jordan Memorial High in Nassau, Bahamas.
Cleotha was a woman of much character, possessing a large, loving heart of gold and innate mothering abilities. It is not surprising that when Ronald Myers Sr. laid eyes on her in November of 1967, he knew that she was going to be his wife. On January 28, 1968, the two became one flesh and shortly thereafter started a family. The union bore two children Ronald Myers Jr. (Ron Jr.) and Sharmaine Myers (Nay Nay).
Proceeding her in death were her loving parents Arthur James Nairn Sr. and Elsie Dean Nairn, her brother Anthony A. Nairn, and her sister Sandra E. Nairn Johnson, Ronald P. Myers Sr. (Husband).
She leaves to cherish her memory two adoring children; son, Ronald P. Myers Jr., and daughter Sharmaine L. Myers; six beautiful grandchildren Kiara Myers, Tyrone Q. Williams, Alviena Hale, Ronisha Hale, Ronasia Hale, and Ronnie Hale; and three great-grandchildren A’Nyiah Allen, Ka’Nyiah Hale and
Myron Jr. Brothers: Drexter J. Nairn, Arthur J. Nairn Jr. (Pam), Anson G. Nairn, and Augustus J. Nairn; Beverly L. Pintard. Sister and Best Friend Mattie B. Jefferson.
A host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends in Seattle WA and Nassau Bahamas.
