
Washington Husky Senior guard Kelsey Plum scored 57 points to set the Pac-12 record as well as a career record for most points in a game as No. 11 Washington (27-4,15-3 Pac 12) beat the Utah Utes (16-13, 5-13 Pac-12) 84 to 77. While the 57 points were three- shy of the NCAA record for most points in a game, the output was good enough to catapult Plum to top spot as the NCAA Women’s all -time scoring leader with 3,397 points.

Plum, has 3,397 career points and was 19-of-28 from the floor, 6-of-11 from three and 13-for-16 from the foul line. The senior guard from Poway, California surpassed Stiles’ mark of 3,393 points midway through the fourth quarter after tying the record with a hesitation drive in the lane at the 4:57 mark.
After a Utah basket and timeout, Plum hit a runner from just outside the lane with 4:06 remaining to surpass Stiles on the all-time list.
In the game, Plum also broke Washington’s single-season scoring record, a record in which she set last season. She now has 979 points in her illustrious senior year, surpassing the record of 960.
Senior Chantel Osahor accounted for her NCAA-leading 26th double-double in the win. The Phoenix, Ariz. native scored 14 points and pulled down 11 rebounds prior to fouling out in the fourth quarter.
Plum had 22 points at halftime and then went on an absolute tear in the second half, scoring 16 in the third and 19 of the Huskies’ 22 points in the fourth quarter.
