One of the worst kept secrets in University of Washington Athletic history went from probable to fact Friday afternoon, when freshman guard Markelle Fults revealed on this twitter account that he was declaring for the upcoming NBA Draft. The probable No.1 overall No.1 pick also took time to say goodbye to UW Husky fans.

Fultz, was an All-Pac-12 First Team and All-Freshman Team performer after leading the league in points at 23.2 per game. He aslo is the first guard in 25 years to average 20-5-5 and was on the watch lists for numerous national awards including the Bob Cousy Award, Naismith Trophy, John R. Wooden Award and the Waymon Tisdale Freshman of the Year Award.
