|Title sponsor, Emerald Queen Casino, and presenting sponsor, BECU have teamed up for the 34th annual Taste of Tacoma®. The three day food, beverage and live music festival takes place Friday through Sunday, June 21st-23rd, 2019, at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington.
Located in Pierce County — on the banks of Puget Sound — the Taste of Tacoma® is the perfect festival for guests who prefer to ‘experience’ a wide variety of food and beverages, while listening to live music, amidst beautiful natural settings.
The Taste of Tacoma® will feature over 40 restaurants, and artisan and specialty food booths, which will offer food lovers a variety of sweet and savory ethnic dishes to include Creole, Asian, European, in addition to American classic festival favorites like burgers, corn dogs, and roasted corn.
The Taste of Tacoma® will also feature local chefs at The Taste Cooks! interactive live cooking show, presented by Albert Lee Appliance, which will take place each day of the festival, in Restaurant Row, and will see some of Tacoma’s best chefs go head-to-head in live cook-off battles, and perform cooking demonstrations of their signature dishes. Thierry Rautureau -The Chef in the Hat- will return for his second year as emcee of The Taste Cooks!
Craft Beer & Wine Tasting located in the Rose Garden, inside the Taste of Tacoma®, will feature over 30 local Washington wines and craft beers for purchase as a tasting package, which will include a souvenir tasting glass and five tastings. Additional tasting tickets will be available to purchase onsite. Live music on the Rose Garden stage will entertain guests throughout the tasting.
For craft beer aficionados, the 2019 lineup features IPA’s, lagers, and golden ales from local breweries; Chainline Brewing, Hellbent Brewing Company, Elysian Brewing Company and Bosk Brew Works.
The 2019 wine selection features a diverse range of varietals like Vino Aquino Monkey’s Uncle Blackberry Merlot, Wind Rose Cellars Muscato Sweet White, Wynoochee River Winery Lemon Wine, Long Road Winery Cabernet Sauvignon, and Samson Estates Yakima Valley Riesling.
Live music at the Taste of Tacoma® spreads across three stags and will feature a diverse range of acts, spanning genres like R&B, jazz, Top 40, rock, and more: 2019 lineup to be announced.
Local handcraft and commercial goods vendors will showcase assorted items to include natural body products, artwork, clothing, jewelry, henna designs, and more.
