Our strategy is radically simple: Invest in women. Change the world.

As the end of 2018 nears, we want to thank you for supporting Wayfinder Foundation’s inaugural effort to change the world by investing in women and activism. Because of you we will start 2019 with 43 activists, awarded microgrants in 5 geographies, and now have an emerging Wayfinder network ready and radicalized to challenge the feminization of poverty and improve child welfare.

Our mission is to see thriving children, secure families, and strong communities. We believe that begins with providing critical resources to high-potential, but undiscovered, leaders who are indigenous to the community we wish to improve.

The big idea that started our foundation isn’t exactly a secret, and it definitely isn’t ours alone. Global philanthropy has long realized that investing in women is the most powerful anti-poverty strategy, yet in the United States, poverty programs punish mothers and diminish the lives of their children.

Our network will challenge the systems that keep families poor, and you can make that change happen. This year, we are asking our friends, families, and colleagues to make a personal investment in Wayfinder.

Whether you can give $25, which would support a grantee’s parking at city hall for a community meeting, or $5,000, which would fund an entire yearlong fellowship for one of our activist grantees, your support will make a tangible difference in cultivating the grassroots infrastructure that is so necessary for marginalized communities in our country.

Please make a donation this year, 100% of which will go directly to an activist fighting for social and economic justice.
