Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound creates and supports 1-to-1 mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Seattle Seahawks Defensive End Jadeveon Clowney will hold “Jingle-A-Thon with Jadeveon” on Tuesday, December 3 for local youth whose lives have been impacted by having an incarcerated family member.
Clowney, who joined the Seattle Seahawks at the start of the 2019-2020 season, holds the passion of giving back to youth, and his hope is to provide kids with a memorable and special holiday experience they deserve and to convey the belief that anything is possible for them. Clowney was raised by a single mother, and his father was in prison throughout his childhood. These experiences influenced Clowney’s desire to give back to kids in similar situations.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound announces a new partnership with The Jadeveon Clowney Help-In-Time Foundation to provide a holiday shopping experience for 25 youth in Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs. “Jingle-A-Thon with Jadeveon” is hosted by Target and supported by Panera Bread.
