Mt. Hood Meadows Presents “SpringSational” Late Season Events

February’s ten feet of snow has given Mt. Hood Meadows one of the deepest snowpacks in North America. With a 176 inch mid-mountain base, Meadows heads into Spring with great conditions and a SpringSational line up of events.

Meadows Spring Season Pass is on sale and provides every day access for the rest of the season. It’s just $149 for adults, $99 for ages 7 – 24 and $139 for ages 65 – 74. Passes can be purchased at SkiHood.com.

“SpringSational” Event Schedule

March 9: Ski to Defeat ALS
Teams take runs to raise money for the Oregon and SW Washington ALS chapter which provides support and resources for people living with ALS, their families, and caregivers.

March 10-11: 30th Annual Oregon Cancer Ski Out
Two-day event for skiers and snowboarders that combines fun, competition and fundraising with a unique racing format designed to let even novice skiers and rider participate in the fight against cancer.

March 16, 23, 30 and April 6: Sunset Snowshoe Tour
Experience the mountain in a way completely unlike the fast pace of skiing and snowboarding. Our guided snowshoe tour will give you another awe-inspiring perspective Meadows! The tour begins at the lodge with a short hike to the bottom of Vista Express Chairlift. There we embark on a scenic lift ride to 6,600 feet where the views of White River Canyon and the South Cascades await. Your downhill snowshoe hike ends at the Alpenstube for a delicious dinner. Reservations required – $75 / person includes snowshoe rentals, guided tour, Vista lift ride and dinner.

March 17: Spring Demo Demo Day
Free demo featuring dozens of ski and snowboard manufacturers with their representatives to help you dial in the perfect gear for you. Arrive early – limited amount of participants available.

March 23: Spring Brew Fest
Craft Brewers from around the NW converge at Meadows for a great day of tasting and toasting on the sun deck (or in Vertical depending on the weather.)

March 23: She Jumps presents Get the Girls Out!
A national campaign to unite women as they support, challenge, mentor and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world. This event cultivates community for women to have fun, connect with new and old friends.

March 25-27 and April 1-3: Three Day Kids, Freestyle and Adult Spring Camps
Our Three Day Camps are a great way to improve your skills and your love for the snow! There are camps for kids (age 4-12), freestyle park riders (age 7-12) and adults. You’ll be amazed at the progress that can be made skiing or riding for three straight days.

March 30: 13th Annual Full Sail Banked Slalom
A roller-coaster of a course that highlights Meadows’ natural terrain, with hand-dug berms and challenging technical features.

April 6: Mazot Fest
Retro themed ski race and party to raise money for the Meadows Avy Dogs at the best spot on the mountain to have fun, drink brews and enjoy the views.

April 7: HRM Appreciation Day
We’re throwing a party at Hood River Meadows to show our appreciation for all our HRM Lodge regulars with music, a beer garden, and raffles to support the Avy Dogs.

April 13: Pride Day
Join us for our first ever Pride Day at Mt. Hood Meadows! This is a day on Mt. Hood to celebrate diversity at Your Mountain Home! Pride Day headquarters will be at the Mazot. Come up for group skiing and snowboarding as well as social hours and dance parties!

April 13: Suits and Boots
$20 lift ticket purchased in advance – but you have to show your bathing suit to redeem it! Fundraiser and party for the Human Access Project to create more public spaces, beaches and access points to the Willamette River.

April 27-28: Toyota reVegetate presented by Ninkasi Brewing
Rail Jam Saturday and a major speed and style mountain course on Sunday featuring some of the best freestyle talent in the Northwest – all to raise funds for the Eagle Creek Fire Restoration Project.

May 4: Sno-Kona Pond Skim and Season’s End Party
Costume-clad competitors cruise across a 90 foot pond in this 12th annual event presented by Kona Brewing.
