Panel celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion:“Queers fired up against the far-right” Queer activists in the Pacific Northwest have a proud history of standing with other communities against the far-right and fascists which continues today. Hear from panelists who on how to build effective coalitions and united fronts against the far-right and fascists. Speakers include: George Bakan, editor of Seattle Gay News and co-founder of United Front Against Fascism; Su Docekal, socialist feminist leader of many battles including for abortion clinic defense and against racist and anti-gay ballot initiatives; Brendan Foreau, founding member of Community and Labor Against Fascism who was inspired into activism by immigrant rights movement.
