Community Network Council announces it will host Youth and Family Celebration event featuring acclaimed author Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr. to empower youth to “Believe, Achieve, and Thrive”.
On Saturday, March 9th, CNC will inspire youth to “Believe, Achieve, and Thrive” through a community-wide celebration. The event aims to increase the self-esteem and well-being of youth by focusing on cultural identity and pride. Special guest, Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr. will speak about his book, “The Guide For White Women Who Teach Black Boys” and how schools can shift educational outcomes for Black male students by creating supportive environments that encourage and support their full potential.
